Born to the unruly teenagers of two prominent New York Mafia Bosses, Nora spent most of her life without knowing who her father was. The Straccis Family were known for their attempts to blend crime syndicates through arranged marriages. By the 1960’s they had blended Italian, Irish and Russian Mafia families. It was Nora’s mother, Lucie Straccis, who earned the name ‘The Trinity’ at the age of 18 by incorporating the different styles of her three prestigious backgrounds into her assassinations and interrogations. At the age of twelve, after spending six years being schooled in England, Nora returned home for the first time and her mother began to train her to become just like her. She was taught the basics in all areas of combat but found, like her mother before her, a deep fascination with knives. Though Nora grew up to be not quite as ruthless and destructive as her mother she did prove herself to be a highly dangerous young woman. Unlike her mother she didn’t mind using her feminine attributes to bait her victims. In many cases she was even known to appear as the “nice girl who didn’t know what she’d gotten in to” before viciously turning the tables. As the power of the Five Families began to decline Nora found herself becoming more and more interested in the war brewing in Chicago. The promise of something tantalising to sink her teeth into, figuratively or literally, was too much to resist. Though it had been a long time since she’d been out of New York for over a week she didn’t hesitate to throw what little luggage she had into her car and hit the road to see what she could find. |
