You can't live with them // You can't kill them
Now see the "Family" I can deal with, my family however... and it really doesn't help that with the exception of Liza and Nick my whole family is the "Family" anyway. The point being - at no point did I say that I had no plans for Christmas and not saying anything does not mean I have no plans.

Not to mention the last thing I want to do at Christmas is spend time with Aunt Liza's kids. I love Liza... but honestly being around those twins is like being stuck in 'Village of the Damned' just with less children. I've seen some whacked out crap in my life, but those kids freak me out. And hey let me point out it was Liza who first made that reference, not me. So when their own mother thinks that something has gotta be wrong there.

The point is I didn't have any plans for Christmas and now I've been given a task. I hate it when they do that. On the positive side, they haven't signed me up for kitchen duties. If there's one good thing about being in an Italian family it's that you learn who can and can't cook pretty quickly. Besides Nonna is always in charge of the kitchen.

Meanwhile I have to take Thing 1 and Thing 2, as well as my other cousins, for a few days out. I mean it's always been this way. All the cousins are rounded up and shipped out every day leading up to Christmas while presents are wrapped and hidden away. And until Heckle and Jeckle that was all well and good. But honestly they creep me out. I was hoping I wouldn't have to keep doing this when I stopped being considered a 'kid' yet here I am at 37 and I'm still having to do babysit.
